What is Kabbalah?

<

Kabbalah describes the world’s most ancient tradition of secret knowledge. From the very first days of Creation, the Kabbalah was passed directly from God to Adam, Abraham, Sarah, Rachel, Moses as well as the other biblical patriarchs and matriarchs. Predating any religion or secular organization, Kabbalah is regarded as the heritage and birthright of all humanity.

When literally translated, the Hebrew word “Kabbalah” means “to receive”.

To study Kabbalah is to study what receiving really means on both a spiritual as well as a practical level of existence.  Kabbalah reveals how things happen in all areas of our lives, as well as the dimensions that exist beyond our physical existence.

Although Kabbalists speak of the Upper Worlds and the Higher Realms, Kabbalah does not envision heaven as somewhere up in the sky.

Instead, in Kabbalah, paradise is defined by heightened spiritual power and awareness and does not pertain to altitude.

The Light of the Creator is everywhere; in ourselves as wall as our fellow human beings, in trees and in animals, and even in inanimate objects. Our purpose in life, therefore, is not to call down the Light from heaven above, but to kindle the sparks of Light that are already here. Kabbalah requires no religious training or indoctrination to make that happen. Connecting with the Light is something we can do right now.
